We had a wonderful dinner furnished by members of the lions club. These family nights are enjoyable with dinner and a program. Lizzy and Libby and their family members joined with us and Lizzy and Libby shared their experience in India and Africa. Lizzy was in India and worked at the leprosy colony. Libby worked at a deaf school in western Africa. We were grateful to help support these to very special young ladies. Libby's dad and brother furnished a couple of musical numbers. We just had a wonderful time. Below are pictures of Lizzy, Libby and Libby's dad and brother.

Sept 18, 2008 Eye Screening
The Lions Club did an eye screening at Central Elementary in Pleasant Grove. In the couple of hours that we were there we screened 500 children. Lorrie, Darlene, Jo, Jay and Carrie were present from the lions club and Linda Monson also helped. It was surprising how many children had eye issues so we really were able to make a difference for the children so that they can be on the read of improving their sight.
